Pembantu dan Tukang Kebun

I will introduce to you, "Melince". She is from a Dani Tribe of Papua. I found her selling bananas inside the MAF Compound. When I saw her for the first time, she had wounds all over her legs. So I treated her with antibiotic cream. The next time, she came back again to sell something.
At this time, I asked her if she likes to work with us a housegirl, helping me keeping my house clean and tidy. After all our prayers if she fits with us. She said, YES!
By this time, she earns more money than selling only bananas and I am happy with her.
She and her family are happy too that we could give her a job!
Pak Romias works with MAF-Papua for 13 years. He is good in maintaining the garden in the compound. He works with us once a week and the rest of the week with the other expats.
He is kind of depressed person because of his wife's passing. So one day, Glenda was able to share to him about the Lord and encouraged him. Did I see any change? I guess there is.
Before I could not see him smiling but now he is.
