Kansas to Colorado!

Which way we have to go???? We are in the middle of nowhere! Yes , this is Kansas and first part of Colorado. We just heard two nights ago that first snowfalls is in Denver. The next destination.

At this time we are staying at the beautiful log house of Stephanie Revennaugh, the daughter of Les and Sharon, Mission Auto Company owner and our church friends.

We are halfway in this journey and we started to feel tired. Marielle is presently catch a cold and me too. We are still enjoying our trip though, however we need your prayers that the Lord will give us strength to carry on and be safe.
You are very welcome to make comments on our blogs.

blessings!!

"Counting our blessings name them one by one."

We planned our trips to cross America in going to Idaho for an orientation and standardization. We may have not awful lots of money but we have an overflowing and exceeding gifts of friends. Tears of joy pour down on us, touching our very hearts, in meeting our friends along the way. Through these, we can lay our heads to sleep, having fun and receiving gifts. What a joy! We are also thankful to Claire and Barbara Gray for giving us a van for us to be more free and movable in this journey. We strongly believe the Lord has bless their hearts and life.
This time we have to stay in Des Moines for a stopover before our trip to Kansas. We have a friend in Kansas from the Philippines who are so glad to have us around. Praise God! Thank you Genelyn and Eddie Mcguire.

After processing my visa for Holland. We had the opportunity to see Chicago City. We went to different sights. We visited the John Hancock observatory tower, Shedd aquaruim, Mellinium Park, and walked within the city. Then we visited our friends in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our grateful thanks to Roelie Faasse and Marty Faasse for their hospitality and generous giving.

Friends make our journeys sweeter and happier!

While packing our things and cleaning our house in Coshocton, the Stevens looked after Johan and Marielle. It made it possible for us to work smoothly.
We left Coshocton last Sept.15 and stay overnight with Denny and Lisa Talampas. We were so blessed to be with them. The next day we have to leave for Chicago to go to the Consulate of the Netherlands. There Glenda has to apply her visa for Holland. Yes, she is still a tourist going to her husband's country.

Special thanks!

Our special thanks to Tim and Michelle Obarow for their great help to us. Michele has been helping us settled for the first time in Coshocton and leaving Coshocton as well.
She helped us cleaning our rented house with few of our friends. Tim and Michele gave space on their garage to put our big stuffs for the new family from England to have.
We really appreciate your love and help to us Michele and Tim. We love you.

MMS Family and Farewell!

Glenda tried to gather the Missionary Maintenance Services (MMS) families that came to our farewell party for some foto sessions.
There were three families finished MMS training this year 2009. It is great to hear how the Lord used MMS to equipped the people of God to further His greatness and love to the nations.

To introduce, Scott and Lela Lazarus with their 4 boys will go to Alaska this year. David and Amy Mozombite with their 3 children will be working with South American Mission (SAM) in Bolivia. Lastly, Gertjan and Glenda with Johan and Marielle will continue to serve God with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF-US) in Indonesia.

All of us will go by faith and trust that God will provide us through families and friends generous giving and steadfast prayers.
