This was our first time to be involved with the Papuan students in TITIP! They had been inviting us to join their fun night. At last we did! And we liked it very much!
TITIP students are young Papuan gentlemen and ladies. They are coming from the different tribes of Papua. They had finished their high school and before going on to further education they choose to enroll this vocational school in TITIP.
On thanksgiving day, they presented a skit and a dance! The skit portrayed how the highlands and people from the coast came to know each other and Christianity. At first, they thought they were the only people living in the land. SO when the two tribes met each other-- they fought. But gladly, a missionary came and shared the gospel to both of them. Then they reconciled!
The first photo are: the first photo is the new generation of Papuans; second picture represents the highlanders in Papua. The third photo is the picture of the people from the coast.
