Glimpses




Chlorine is widely used for bleaching. It is often use to bleach clothes especially in the Philippines. I never heard it could be used to bleach your vegetables. As you can see, I used chlorine diluted with water to wash our lettuces, other veggies and fruits. Why? Just preventive measures for nasty parasites found in Papua.

They should have done it in Germany too. That would have prevented the cucumber-bacteria problems. In South America they also put them in diluted bleach before eating any uncooked food.
