On Marielle's 4th birthday! There are 4 culture to compromise in opening presents. For Dutch: you have to open in front of he giver to see both reactions. For Americans: you have to open it in-front of all the guests, for Filipinos: you have to keep the gifts and open it after all the guests are gone and lastly: for Javanese: for children's gifts you can open it directly but for adults you have to wait until the guests are gone!
