Kodiak

Gertjan and his brother Jeroen pose after having a ride in a Kodiak plane. Johan was enjoying the ride while Marielle fall into a sleep. Gertjan flew the plane for a short time when the pilot handed over the plane to him. That was great.
The Kodiak is a plane specially designed for missions. It has a turbine engine so it is not depending on AVGAS, the fuel that piston engines use. In most of the countries where mission aviation planes fly there is a shortage of AVGAS.
Johan was so happy to see his Uncle Jeroen visiting us while on his way to Canada for a three- week vacation.
