God is good all the time! Glenda turns 35.

Anne Pessia made me a cherry and a chocolate cake for my party. After the food, we went out for bowling. Ladies only !

In JAARS, our hosts Eunice Warfel ( wife of Don Warfel, BCV Instructor) had made me a chocolate coconut cover cake. It was good. We planned to have a party there to have fellowship with the Carpenters and Tuit family( Catharine's parents). The Tuit family speaks Dutch, English, Tok Pisin, and Tagalog and Visayan ( Glenda's laguage)and Bahasa. They were Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Philippines,Indonesia and other places.

So no secret language of ours that these family will not know.

Painting

Gertjan had succeesfully painting the Moody Aviation plane. It was a happy time for Gertjan and the rest of the team. Here stands beside Gertjan is Ian Hengst and David Mozombite.

Na een aantal weken voorbereidingen zoals het verwijderen van oude verf, het behandelen van het alluminium en het afplakken is de verf klus aan de Cessna 182 van Moody Bible Institute dan eidelijk klaar. Ik heb hier samen met mijn teamleider Ian Hengst en David Mozombite (uit Peru) aan gewerkt. Het hele schema /patroon is door mij aangebracht en afgeplakt en daarna gespoten (blauw en zilver)

"Meet the Ladies"

Meet the ladies who prays for me and encourages me. Actually, we shared common and wonderful thing which is getting to know our Master Creator, Saviour and Great Judge!

My Tuesday Bible study group: left-rt; Suzie, Michelle, Cecilia, Caroline, Norma, Glenda and Donna plus our kids.

We just had finished our BS about Elijah and third week of February we started to look on 1 John's life, " the beloved". Late last year, one MAF-Family in West Papua visited and shared their work to us.

Valentine's day!

A lot of people does celebrate valentine's day here in the US. I guess it is not bad to show and express our love to our spouse. The good thing is we adapted certain cultural fun here. Gertjan gave me this huge Valentine card ( American size) early morning of that day plus a load of Tracfone. I was sooooo happy, okay no flowers but it's alright, at least it is in the card already!

'Hands- On'

As you look on this picture, you might say wow that has to be remodeled or fixed. Absolutely!

If I am not wrong, Gertjan is working on this plane, as you can see he is checking the front wheel of this plane. Recently, Gertjan, David and the team leader Ian have been painting the plane. More updates to show later on.

Last Christmas '08!

The Church of the Nazarene in Coshocton had the theme of "Light and Life" in Christmas cantata. We were so delighted to join the choir and so blessed to be accepted from this church family.
